Wisconsin State Parks Information Stations

Imperial Multimedia identified a need for a comprehensive information system that could supply park specific, as well as regional, information to visitors in Wisconsin's State Parks. Reduced funding, staff cut-backs, and many parks that cover large geographic areas made it difficult for rangers to respond to guest's questions and provide comprehensive information regarding trails and amenities.

Drawing upon experience working with the retail and leisure entertainment industries, Imperial Multimedia developed a ground-breaking program where outdoor interactive touch-screen kiosks could be installed in the parks and entirely funded through paid advertising and sponsorship.

Today, Imperial Multimedia's Information Stations form the backbone of the most comprehensive information program ever launched in a state park system. The next generation of Information Stations will be launched in Virginia's state parks in Spring 2007.
