The Virtual Storyteller Exhibit

The Virtual Storyteller Exhibit redefines how information is displayed in museums and visitor centers. This novel approach, which emulates the appearance of a three-dimensional hologram, provides an entertaining, educational message that simple static exhibits cannot keep up with.

Currently, Imperial Multimedia has these Virtual Storyteller Exhibits at the Southwest Virginia Museum in Big Stone Gap, Virginia and at the Sailor's Creek Battlefield Historical State Park.

Voices of the Hills:
This exhibit displays an early American Pioneer. Through music, you'll learn the history of mountain culture and what it was like in the late 18th century. The exhibit comes with an interactive touch screen, and visitors are able to select what they want to get more information about. The Storyteller plays a period banjo, flute, and fiddle all the while giving the audience an egaging story.

Stories From the Hillsman House:
This exhibit displays two soldiers - one from the North and one from the South. From their point of view we learn about the Battle at Sailor's Creek. We learn about how the soldiers were injured in one of the most gruesome Civil War battles. The exhibit is based on actual journals of these two soldiers, which gives the exhibit a more educational and engaging feel.
